18 Dec Upcoming Car Events and Shows
If you’re a car enthusiast like me, then you’re probably always on the look out for car shows and car events coming to your area. Fortunately for those of us that enjoy a good car show, the Internet makes it a little easier to find great local shows. What’s more, you can access photos, blogs and even videos for shows that you aren’t able to attend. No, it’s not exactly the same as being there but it’s better than missing it altogether.
While it’s not feasible for me to provide you with a list of all of the Upcoming car events, I did want to make the effort to provide you with some information about shows that are coming up.
If you’re looking for something in November and December, then there are quite a few upcoming car shows:
The SEMA Show is the premier automotive specialty products trade event in the world. It showcases the best auto products in one place, the Las Vegas Convention Center. In addition, the SEMA Show provides attendees with educational seminars, product demonstrations, special events, networking opportunities and more. SEMA Show 2011 drew more than 60,000 buyers.
The Goodguys 15th Southwest Nationals is happening in Scottsdale November 16 – 18, 2012. Over 2,500 Rods, Customs, Classics and Muscle cars are on display along with vendor and manufacture exhibits. This year, the event will show both pre- and post-1972 cars.
This is an annual auto show held at the Los Angeles Convention Center in late November/early December. The LA Auto Show is an OICA sanctioned international exhibition and also endorsed by the Greater Los Angeles New Car Dealers Association. It is open to the public for ten days, filling 760,000 square feet of exhibit space.
If you’re looking for something next year, then you might be interested in the 20th Annual Studebaker/Packard & Other Independent Car Show. This car show takes place on January 5, 2013 and includes 250 independent cars from all over the country. There’s no entree fee to attend and there are going to be plenty of things to do for the entire family.
This is just a taste of what you’re going to find when you start looking for car shows around the country. If you’re a classic car owner, you might want to consider Auto Super Shield to protect the outside of your car. It’s inexpensive and it makes it easy to change the look of your car without having to wait for the paint to dry.
