Auto SuperShield Car of the Week Ready for the Track! Auto SuperShield customer, John, a driving instructor, purchased this sweet 2012 Mustang 302 Boss that is built ready for the race track. This limited edition Mustang is number 469 of only 750 that will be built in year 2012. It has 444 horsepower, 19” wheels (255’s on the front & 285’s on the back), a six speed transmission and a speed of 156 MPH. The only thing the “Boss” needed was protection for her beautiful painted finish.John brought his new pride and joy to Auto SuperShield for a complete paint protection film wrap. Yes, that’s right…..every, single inch of the paint was covered with 3M Paint Protection film! Full coverage on the hood, fenders, front and rear bumpers, side doors, side rocker panels, A-pillars, roof line, rear quarter panels and even the painted red trim around the grille was covered with the film. The headlights and taillights were covered as well to protect against chips and prevent cracks, breaks and pitting of the lens. Windshield protection was installed on the front windshield.

A custom vinyl graphic with the car number (# 469) in red was installed on the side doors, so John’s car could be easily recognized leading the pack at the Homestead, FL track the next day.
